As a facilitator of Foreign Direct Investment into Nigeria, the Firm is
constantly in the fore of liaising with the government at various
levels, with a view to engender a level-playing field for foreign
investment in Nigeria.
The Firm is engaged on both sides of the
divide of investment by government at different tiers and investors
alike, for multifarious reasons ranging from: devising of policies by
government, suggesting policies to governments, seeking clarification on
procedures from government for investors, drafting of legislation for
government, engendering business tours of countries, etc.
The
Firm has also played principal roles in the drafting and enactment of
the Pensions Reform Act and the Nigerian Sovereign Wealth Fund Act.
